On June 28, Colin Moran was hit by a pitch resulting in a left wrist fracture that would sideline him for an extended period of time. Moran missed all of July, but was able to rehab the injury in order to return to the Pittsburgh Pirates lineup in early August. The first public institution of higher education in North Carolina, the school opened its doors to students on February 12, 1795. Justin McKoy grew up like a lot of kids in the state of North Carolina. He wanted to be a Tar Heel. "I'd always mimic playing basketball in the house with my brother," McKoy said.
